Dreams of a President

I meant to add this into the end of the previous post but it slipped my mind as I was hitting the Publish button.

It's not as if any of this can come as a surprise. Bush has been astonishingly frank about his ambitions:

"If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator."

No question at all. He wouldn't have to pay attention to Congress or any of the silly laws they passed. He wouldn't have to get their agreement before appointing anybody he wanted to any post whatsoever. Things sure would be a heck of a lot easier.
