If this story ends with Batman giving Robin a purple sweater for Christmas, I'm going to be very sad.
As I recall, it ends with the criminal being captured on Christmas night by an unexplainable method. Batman doesn't understand what happened until he notices one star shining more brightly than the others and thinks, "Hmmm . . ."
Ah, yes. The Searchlight of Bethlehem. Of course.
