A Little Light Reading for Labor Day


We're not working today in celebration of those who came before us and helped set the parameters of how we work today. We didn't have to work for the last two days because of them, too. And most of is didn't hold down jobs when we were in 5th or 6th grade for the same reason. Since we've got the day off, there's plenty of time to catch up on your labor history.

This comic came out in 1948, and you can tell from its cover that is full of drama and thrills. Here's a quick excerpt from the intro page:
